We are Fraudio, a fast-growing VC backed payment fraud detection company founded by online payment and AI/ML experts. We are a cloud-native product company at heart. We like to experiment and keep up to date with the latest trends, which enables us to choose the best tool for the job. We work in an interesting and cutting-edge field where the wheel has not always been invented yet. We face a lot of technical challenges to deliver low latency predictions for billions of transactions coming from all over the world.
Our mission 🚀 is to disrupt the industry by connecting all companies in the payment ecosystem to a powerful centralized AI that detects and prevents fraud in real-time, creating unrivaled value.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Fraudio is a remote-friendly company that currently has a hybrid work environment with the majority of people in the Netherlands and others located across Europe, with a focus on hiring in Portugal. We are comprised of people from many countries and cultures, which we believe is a strength. Company milestones
- 2019 - Fraudio was founded in 2019 by a collective of artificial intelligence experts and data scientists working together at a payment service provider and a merchant acquiring bank. “We worked in the payment industry for many years and became so frustrated with the options available for fraud detection that we decided to build our own solution. We thought, hang on, there must be a better way.” -CEO and Co-Founder João Moura.
