  • Cinthia Assali - SVP Product Management

    Cinthia leads the Consumer Digital Experience team at Wellhub. This team, known as CODE, represents the voice of our end-users and connects them with partners through the Wellhub website and apps. Prior to joining Wellhub, Cinthia spent over a decade at Google, and has dedicated her career to product development and innovation. She is an award winning woman in tech, owner of technology patents, and recipient of multiple media prizes.

  • Victor Ribeiro - EVP Product Development

    Victor leads the Wellhub product and engineering teams. He has an extensive tech leadership background with companies such as: Google, Universo Online, and Brazil Online. Victor has also founded multiple startups including Miner (an early Brazilian search engine) and Flaner. He is a member of abcapital and is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and high tech startups.

  • Douglas Ferreira - VP Software Engineering

    Douglas leads the MEP (Marketing Engineering & Platform) area, which enables and maximizes marketing efforts through technology, product integrations, and engineering. Before joining MEP, Douglas also led Data Engineering and Production Engineering, responsible for bringing the Platform Engineering organization to Wellhub. Prior to Wellhub, Douglas worked for 10 years at Amil (UnitedHealthcare Group), focusing on software engineering and leading software architecture.

  • Francisco Matos - SVP Software Engineering

    Francisco leads the General Platform Services (GPS) team, focused on creating technology components and building blocks to support Wellhub products, business, and operations to scale. Francisco has over 30 years of experience as a software engineer and leader of software engineering teams in online technology, financial, food, and automation industries. He has worked in software engineering at several companies such as UOL and Google.

  • Rafael Maranzato - SVP Software Engineering

    Rafael leads the Corp Tech area, which concentrates all the areas that provide services and tools for Wellhubbers: DOTS, Global Analytics, InfoSec, MEP and Partners. Prior to Wellhub, he led product and technology teams at Universo Online. He also has worked over the last 12 years for Fintech companies such as; PagSeguro, Stelo and Clip. He helped them to scale not only the business, but the product portfolio and their teams in Brazil and Mexico. In 2020, he was nominated as one of the top 10 CTOs in México.

  • Rafael Hanna - VP Product Management

    Rafael leads the Business Architecture Services (BASE) and Client Innovation Area (CIA) teams. His teams are responsible for developing the core business platform services that are inherently connected to our business model and the foundation of our product, as well as the product experience Wellhub delivers to our Clients, the companies providing our wellbeing benefit to their employees. Rafael has nearly 20 years of experience and has spent the last 10+ years working with high growth tech companies, both leading product teams and as a VC investor at Monashees.

  • Ivan Rocha - VP Software Engineering

    Ivan leads the production and data engineering teams, providing the platform necessary to scale Wellhub engineering. Ivan has more than 30 years of experience as a software engineer and co-founded Flaner as a head of engineering. Before Wellhub and Flaner, Ivan led several engineering teams at UOL for almost two decades.

  • Danilo Machado - Senior Director Software Engineering

    Danilo leads the Partners focus area responsible for the supplier side of the Wellhub marketplace - our fitness and wellbeing providers. His team develops services to support their journey inside Wellhub from the signup flow to their monthly payment. Before joining Wellhub, he worked for more than 20 years in companies like UOL, UOLEdtech and Laureate leading software engineering and product teams.

  • Alice Campos - VP Product Management

    Alice Campos leads product development at Wellhub in the New Ventures department. She works with the innovation lab at Wellhub that is responsible for projects such as Digital Partners, Trainiac, and Wellz. Alice co-founded her first startup in 1999, and she has more than two decades of experience creating new products and preparing them to escalate globally.

Company milestones

  • 2024 - In May 2024 Gympass rebranded as Wellhub, reflecting our evolution from a “pass for gyms” to a comprehensive employee wellbeing solution for companies and their workforce. With the rebrand we are also elevating our overall offerings, including a completely new app experience and an expanded network of wellbeing partners across fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep.
  • 2012 - Our health and wellness concept began with our Co-Founder and CEO, Cesar Carvalho, in 2011. While working as a consultant at McKinsey & Co, he found it difficult to find reasonably priced gyms when traveling for work. One year later, as Cesar was juggling an MBA at Harvard Business School and continuing work at McKinsey, he found himself still thinking about fitness options that were flexible, fun, and affordable. He left HBS and took the first steps toward what became Gympass. In 2012, Cesar, along with friends Vinicius Ferriani and Joao Barbosa, founded Gympass, which became Wellhub in 2024.
