Privacy Policy

LANDING.JOBS ("us", "we", "our", the "company") is a leading IT hiring hub that connects companies directly to pre-vetted tech professionals worldwide. As a global partner in IT hiring, we support companies' recruitment and staffing/outsourcing processes with our advanced approach, making us a top player in the industry for thousands of the best companies in the world.

In our mission to deliver top tech talent we are committed to protect our Users and/or Members' ("Users", "Members", "you", "your") data their privacy and therefore it is paramount to be clear and transparent about what data we collect from you, how it is used and with whom it is shared.

Our Privacy Policy explains the reasons for the processing of your data, the way we collect, handle and ensure protection of all data provided, how that information is used and what rights you have in relation to your data.

This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our website (the "Platform" or "website": https://landing.jobs) and/or use any of our Services: Talent, Job Board, Subscription Basic and Subscription Premium when you engage the providing of Services from us.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before you start to use the Platform.

This Privacy Policy was updated in September 2025.

  1. 1.1. Any User may visit the Platform anonymously at all times provided however that the Platform uses Cookies. To know more about cookies, please read Section 8 (Cookies).

    1.2. No data will be collected and processed where we don't have a lawful basis. We shall only collect and process data by means of law, consent or contract.

    1.3. You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data when you:

    • (i) Create an account on our Platform;
    • (ii) Use or view our Platform via your browser's cookies.

    1.4. To create an account and become a Member of the Platform you need to provide data, including:

    • (i) Your legal name;
    • (ii) Your e-mail address;
    • (iii) Your general location (city and country);
    • (iv) Your citizenship;
    • (v) Your job;
    • (vi) Your skills;
    • (vii) Your employment status;
    • (viii) Your position within the company;
    • (ix) Your company's legal name;
    • (x) Your company's logo;
    • (xi) Your company's e-mail address;
    • (xii) Your company's general location (city and country);
    • (xiii) A password;
    • (xiv) Your credit card details.

    1.5. If you intend to subscribe any of our paid Services, you will need to provide the following data:

    • (i) Your payment method (credit card);
    • (ii) Your billing information (including VAT number and billing address)

    1.6. We also collect:

    • (i) Log usage data, such as log-ins, cookies, device information and internet protocol addresses to identify you and log your use of the Platform;
    • (ii) Cookies and similar technologies to collect data to recognize you and your device(s) on, off and across different services and devices where you have engaged with our Platform (please read Section 8 - Cookies);
    • (iii) Data about your device (IP address, proxy server, operating system, web browser) and location.

    1.7. To effectively use our Services, you may want to provide, at your own discretion, additional information to your profile, such as photo, CV, LinkedIn account, work experience, education, certification languages, phone number, and other information you may find useful to your fruition of the Services. Please understand that it is your choice to do it.

    1.8. It is also your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and to make that sensitive information public.

    1.9. Additionally, we may collect your personal data when you communicate through the Platform.

    1.10. Do not add any personal data that you would not want to be publicly available.

    1.11. We will only collect data that is voluntarily disclosed and submitted by you and that you authorize us to collect and process.

    1.12. You are free not to consent on certain data processing actions by us or by any other entity and may withdraw a previously granted consent at any time by closing your account or deleting any additional information on your profile.

    1.13. Refusal to grant consent or withdrawal of a previously granted consent will prevent us from performing the Services or from keeping the Member validly registered in the Platform, which may imply the deletion of such Member account from our database.

    1.14. You are free to amend or withdraw your consent at any time.

  2. 2.1. We will use your data for operational purposes related to our Services: service management, provision of support and information services, client relationship, financial administration, complaints, security, crime prevention and protection of legitimate interests.

    2.2. Your data will be used for the performance of the Services, such as matching between Talent and Employers and connection suggestions.

    2.3. Your data will be used to help you find the products or Services that best suit your needs.

    2.4. We will use your data for technical purposes, by enabling us to collect feedback as well as to operate and maintain the Platform, thereby improving user experience.

    2.5. Data (including communications) will be used for customer support activities, including investigations, responses and complaint resolution.

    2.6. Your data may be used for security purposes or to prevent or investigate possible violations of the law, our Terms and/or attempts to harm our Users, Members, company, affiliates, or others.

    2.7. Your data may also be used for marketing and commercial purposes, to send you information about our products and services, campaigns, promotions, news, special offers, provided that you have consented.

    2.8 Your data will be collected, processed and stored in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable laws in force, mainly the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU no. 2016/679, of the European Parliament and Council of April 27th).

    2.9. We adopt the appropriate technical and organizational measures intended for the protection of data against accidental loss, destruction, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and unlawful destruction.

  3. 3.1. Your data will be shared to the extent necessary to the provision of our Services.

    3.2. Your profile will be visible in the Platform to other Users or Members for the purposes of your chosen subscription, paid or free.

    3.3. Any information you share in your profile will be visible to other Users or Members.

    3.4. When you engage in a job offer provided by another Member, your information will be shared with that Member.

    3.5. We may also share your data with third-party service providers and processors, which include our cloud service providers, marketing providers, advisors, consultancy and professional services providers and market agents.

    3.6. Your data may be shared with Damia Portugal, Lda. (https://www.damiagroup.pt) and We Are Meta Lda. (https://wearemeta.io).

    3.7. Your data may be also shared with our clients.

    3.8. Data shared with our aforementioned affiliates and clients in accordance with the previous number will only be for the purpose of:

    • (i) Finding suitable offers for Talent/Job seekers;
    • (ii) Finding suitable candidates for Employers.

    3.9. Your data may be shared as a part of a sale, merger or change in control, or in preparation for any of these events. If our company is acquired, in total or part, the acquiring entity will have the right to continue to use your data in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy.

    3.10. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal data for the purposes outlined above, using a different database so that the information remains anonymous at all times. Non-personal data may include:

    • (i) Browser name;
    • (ii) Device name;
    • (iii) Type of computer and technical information;
    • (iv) Means of connection to the Platform, such as the operating system and/or the IP;
    • (v) Other similar non-personal and technical data.

    3.11. We may disclose your information when required by law, subpoena or other legal process or if we have reasons to believe such disclosure is necessary to:

    • (i) Conduct investigations and take action against suspected or actual illegal activities;
    • (ii) Assist governmental enforcing entities;
    • (iii) Enforce our agreements with you;
    • (iv) Investigate and defend ourselves against third-party claims and allegations;
    • (v) Security or integrity reasons regarding our Platform and our Services;
    • (vi) Exercise and protect the rights and safety of Landing.Jobs, our Members and affiliates.

    3.12. Whenever we are compelled to disclose your data we shall:

    • (i) Promptly inform you of such compelled disclosure;
    • (ii) Seek that the authorities in question contact you directly and for that effect we will provide them with your contact preferences;
    • (iii) Employ reasonable efforts not to grant access to excessive information.
  4. 4.1. Landing.Jobs is not in the data selling, trading or renting business, and therefore data sharing with third-parties is strictly limited and is only made in accordance with the applicable laws.

    4.2. We may share your data before third-party providers in data storage operations, payment processing, Platform management operations and marketing operations.

    4.3. Data sharing with third-party processors will be strictly as needed for the purposes of such services.

    4.4. Third-party processors will comply with the Terms, this Private Policy, and the applicable laws and regulations in force.

  5. 5.1. All data will be stored and processed by us in Portugal and transmissions or interconnection of data exist with third-parties, as follows:

    5.2. In all other cases all data will be processed and stored within the European Union according with its privacy laws.

    5.3. Data belonging to non-European Union citizens, by their own nature and origin, may be fluxed in and out the non-European Union territory.

  6. 6.1. As previously mentioned, we may use your data for marketing and commercial purposes.

    6.2. We may send you marketing communications if you have given us your contact details and opted-in for such communications.

    6.3. You can unsubscribe from future communications, pushups or news from us through your account's profile settings. You will, however, continue to receive all system and legal notices.

    6.4. Our selected digital marketing service providers may process your personal information to conduct marketing activities on our behalf in a compliant manner.

    6.5. Our appointed data processor for marketing and commercial purposes are Hubspot (https://www.hubspot.com) and Brevo (https://www.brevo.com). You can contact both providers and read their respective privacy policies through the links above.

  7. 7.1. You can control the data you disclose via your account settings at our Platform.

    7.2. You have the right to be informed, which means you have the right to know what data is collected from you, how it's being used, and who it's being shared with. This Privacy Policy materializes such right to information.

    7.3. You have the right to access, which means you have the right to request us for copies of your data in a machine-readable form.

    7.4. You have the right to rectification, which means you have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

    7.5. You have the right to erasure, which means you have the right to request that we erase your data, under certain conditions imposed by law.

    7.6. Notwithstanding the right to erasure, your data may be retained after your request for erasure when such data is related to inappropriate, harmful or illegal activities or when required by law.

    7.7. You have the right to restrict processing, which means you have the right to object to our processing of your data, under certain conditions imposed by law.

    7.8. You have the right to data portability, which means you have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions imposed by law.

    7.9. You have the right to object, which means you can object to the processing of your data.

  8. We use cookies and pixels to collect and use data to improve our service for you. Such data may or may not be personal information or may become personal information if combined with other information.

    By continuing to visit or use our Platform, you are agreeing to the use of cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described herein.

    8.1. WHAT ARE COOKIES

    Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we may transfer into your device to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when the Platform is being visited and by how many people, also permitting us to enhance user experience.

    8.2. HOW DO WE USE COOKIES

    Some cookies we use are essential for some services to properly function (essential or strictly necessary cookies), others are used to collect information of the use of the Platform (statistics) so that we can make it more convenient and useful (optional cookies).

    We use session and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary and will disappear when you close your browser, while persistent cookies will stay on your computer for some time.

    Some of the cookies we use are strictly necessary for the functionality of the Platform, while others are used to enhance performance and user experience.

    Cookies that are set by us are called "first-party cookies". Cookies that are set by third-parties are called "third-party cookies", and may be used by such third-parties for advertising, analytics and other purposes, as described below.

    The cookies set in the Platform are used for the following purposes:

    • (i) Authentication;
    • (ii) Security;
    • (iii) Preferences;
    • (iv) Content customization;
    • (v) Analytics and research.

    8.3. WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE

    By default, we use the following cookies:

    • (i) Cloudfare, for cybersecurity purposes;
    • (ii) Hubspot, an analytics tool for marketing purposes;
    • (iii) CookieYes, for consent and GDPR compliance;
    • (iv) New Relic, for analytics purposes;
    • (v) Landing.Jobs own cookies, which are strictly necessary for basic website or app functionality;
    • (vi) Google Analytics (i.e, _ga, _gid), which is an analytics tool provided by Google that interprets the level of engagement and usage of the Platform and its functionalities;
    • (vii) Bing Ads, for marketing purposes;
    • (viii) Social Media Pixels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube, Pinterest, Vimeo, TikTok);
    • (ix) Hotjar, which is an analytics tool to help us understand the User's journey when navigating the Platform;
    • (x) Stripe, for payment processing purposes.

    This list may be changed at any time but our use of cookies will always be subject to your consent through the Cookie Banner in the website, which provides you an updated list of all of them.

    Data collection and sharing may occur from navigation and usage data.

    8.4. HOW TO MANAGE YOUR COOKIES

    While we recommend that you accept the usage of cookies, you do have the right to decide whether to accept or reject at least to the usage of some of them.

    Our platform allows you to manage your cookie preferences and to accept or refuse certain cookies that may not be essential for the adequate functioning of the Platform and are, therefore, optional.

    Essential cookies cannot be rejected as they are strictly necessary to provide you our Services.

    If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use the Platform though your access to some functions and/or areas may be restricted. You may also set or amend your browser controls to accept or reject cookies.

  9. Our Platform may contain links or pointers to other websites. Our Privacy Policy applies only to our Platform, so if you access a link to another website, you should read their privacy policy, which your data is subject to.

  10. We keep our Privacy Policy under regular review and place any updates on our Platform.

  11. 11.1. If you request the closure of your account, your data may be visible to others on the Platform for a period of 24 hours.

    11.2. Your data will be deleted from our servers within 30 days after closure.

    11.3. Your data may be retained after you have closed your account if necessary to comply with legal obligations, meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, or for security reasons.

    11.4. As set out in our Terms, Landing Jobs, Unipessoal, Lda. with registered office at Avenida Almirante Reis, n.º 54, 6.º Direito, 1150-019 Lisbon, Portugal, is the data controller of your personal data.

  12. 12.1. This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Portuguese Republic and those of the European Union.

    12.2. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement, including but not limited to any question regarding its existence, validity, interpretation, performance, or termination, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
