What you'll do
- Provide technical leadership across solution design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Design and guide platform-first IT solutions aligned with business goals — thinking in tasks, goals, and decision loops, not just endpoints.
- Architect AI-enabled and agentic workflows that embed intelligence directly into business processes, and design agent-backed APIs that operate reliably in production.
- Define how services produce and consume data at scale, designing clean integrations between applications and data platforms.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems, balancing speed of delivery with long-term stability.
- Act as a subject-matter expert in architecture strategy, including cloud-native and event-driven design.
Requirements

Ways of working:
- 7+ years in software engineering, with a strong track record in systems and solutions architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript, and modern API frameworks (e.g. Fastify).

- Deep familiarity with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, containerized workloads (AKS or equivalent), and event-driven scaling (e.g. KEDA).
- Advanced use of GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Practical, production-grade experience with LLM integration patterns: RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), prompt orchestration, and tool-usage patterns.
- Solid grasp of agent orchestration concepts — multi-step workflows, memory, tool calling, and chaining — and clear judgment about when an agent is the right approach versus a conventional service.
Data engineering alignment:
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, streaming vs. batch processing, and data contracts.
