What You’ll Do

Cloud Infrastructure Management (Azure Focus)

• Design & Deploy: Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on Azure, overseeing services like AKS, ACR, Managed PostgreSQL, and Azure Storage Accounts.
• Secure Networking: Implement Virtual Networks, subnets, NSGs, and other networking components, ensuring only the right traffic gets in.
• Disaster Recovery & Upgrades: Plan and execute DR strategies, back up and restore databases and storage, and handle upgrades for AKS, PostgreSQL, and other key services.

Container Orchestration & Kubernetes

• Application Deployment: Use AKS, Istio Ingress Gateway, and Helm to deploy and manage applications in a microservices environment.
• Optimize & Troubleshoot: Monitor and fine-tune Kubernetes components (HPA, PDB, deployments, webhooks) for maximum reliability.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Automate with Terraform: Write and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning cloud resources, role assignments, and advanced configurations.
• Streamline Setup: Implement conditional resource executions, remote-exec provisioners, and maintain multi-provider code in step with new version releases.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Build & Deploy: Design CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate Docker builds, manage image tagging, and handle deployments.
• Event-Driven Workflows: Create workflows that trigger on key events (e.g., release creation) to minimize downtime and accelerate delivery.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve pipeline glitches, preventing any workflow “gotchas” like infinite loops or stalled tasks.

Monitoring & Security

• Visibility & Performance: Configure and manage Azure monitoring tools (including Managed Prometheus) to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Data Protection: Set up robust access controls, security policies, and best practices to safeguard sensitive data in the cloud.

Seasoned Experience: 7+ years in DevOps or a related role.

Cloud Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).

CI/CD Know-How: Strong familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.

Automation & Scripting: Fluent in Python or Bash to automate and streamline operations.

Team Player: A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
