The Darwin team is responsible for the central nervous system of our company. We build and maintain the internal backoffice ecosystem that empowers our operations teams to scale. Darwin isn't just a tool; it’s the platform that ensures our business remains agile, automated, and efficient. From React micro-frontends to the backend services powering our AI chatbots and self-service portals, Darwin is where operational excellence meets cutting-edge engineering.
As the Tech Lead Manager for Darwin in CXTech group, you will sit at the intersection of hands-on technical leadership and people management. You will lead a high-performing squad of engineers, ensuring that our internal tools are as robust, performant, and easy to use as our external products.

As the Tech Lead Manager for Darwin in CXTech group, you will sit at the intersection of hands-on technical leadership and people management. You will lead a high-performing squad of engineers, ensuring that our internal tools are as robust, performant, and easy to use as our external products.
YOUR IMPACT
Platform Leadership
- Internal Excellence: Lead the design, development, and evolution of Darwin, our mission-critical internal backoffice platform, ensuring it remains the backbone of our global operations.
- Full-Stack Stewardship: Lead and remain hands-on with a multidisciplinary team of backend and frontend developers to build high-scale tools that power our self-service ecosystem and internal workflows.
- Frontend Mastery: In-depth knowledge of React and extensive experience building type-safe applications with TypeScript.
- Polyglot Backend Mindset: Experience or strong familiarity with Go and Kotlin (or Java). You are comfortable navigating different backend ecosystems to support Darwin’s diverse services.
- Operational Reliability: Troubleshoot platform issues and proactively identify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks, directly impacting the company’s bottom line.
- Self-Service Innovation: Oversee the backend services that power our AI chatbots and user-facing self-service tools, ensuring seamless integration between backoffice data and end-user experience.
Technical Leadership & People Management
- Mentorship & Growth: Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, psychological safety, and high performance.
- Engineering Standards: Establish and enforce "gold standards" for TypeScript development, testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure Darwin remains stable and maintainable.
- Agile Collaboration: Work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes people over process, staying laser-focused on team productivity and shipping value.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with Product, Operations, and Design leads to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical roadmaps.
Architecture & Systems Design
- Micro-Frontend Strategy: Define and implement a scalable micro-frontend architecture using React and TypeScript to allow Darwin to grow without becoming a monolith.
- Backend Resilience: Design and develop robust backend services and BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns that support both internal UIs and external-facing self-service tools.
- Scalable Transformation: Support existing legacy systems while leading the transformation toward modern, high-scale architectures that meet our evolving product demands.

- Leadership Track Record: Proven experience as a Tech Lead, with at least 2 years in a formal or informal leadership/management capacity.
- Frontend Mastery: In-depth knowledge of React and extensive experience building type-safe applications with TypeScript.
- Full-Stack Mindset: Skilled in architecting large-scale, multi-tier web applications with a focus on high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical "Darwin" roadmaps into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: A strong customer-service orientation; you view the operations team as your primary customers and take pride in unblocking them.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Modern Web Stack: Expert-level command of TypeScript, JavaScript.
- Data & Backend: Extensive background working with SQL technologies (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and designing RESTful web services.
- Cloud Architecture: Prior experience with cloud-based environments, specifically AWS, and a solid understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
- Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis to ensure Darwin remains performant as it scales.
- Linguistic Agility: Advanced English skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to global teams across different time zones.
