As you may have already heard, at Landing.Jobs we launch the Tech Careers Report every year, an immersive report on the portuguese community of tech professionals.
We’ve recently released this year’s Report with amazing insights on salaries, stacks, demographics, biggest trends, remote work, and more (if you don’t know what we’re talking about, check this out). But we don’t want to stop there! We want YOU to join in on the fun and help us bring even more knowledge to the tech community! Together with Taikai, and sponsored by tb.lx, we’re giving you access to the study’s raw data and in return we want to see your original and insightful analysis!
We believe that this is a great way to give knowledge back to the community and to increase the quality of the insights that will help tech professionals make better and more informed career decisions.

But how does this work?
The process is super simple:
- The first step is to register on the Taikai platform.
- Next, you just have to download the raw data.
- Have fun with it! Explore your skills, be creative, test hypotheses.
- Submit your project and all required deliverables on your page — you can do this until the 28th of April, 12am CET.
- That’s it! Simple, right?
You can use whatever methods you like best to come up with your analysis: statistics, visualization techniques, machine learning/AI/data mining, excel — the choice is yours!
The voting will be done by the community and a selected jury, and they’ll start reviewing projects between the 12–28th of April. Taikai’s voting system uses blockchain (how cool is that?), so at this final stage the community of participants, the jury and external watchers will use tokens to vote.
The Prizes
The 3 winners will be announced on the 5th of May (time to be determined), and the prizes will be awarded in Amazon vouchers for the amounts:
1st place: 1000€
2nd place: 500€
3rd place: 250€
Winners will also be presented at an online event with our partners, clients and tech talent. This is a unique opportunity to extend your network and even stumble upon new opportunities!
