Description

We're looking for someone who can be the face, voice, and engine behind the Landing.Jobs brand, a full hands-on Community Builder who thrives at the intersection of people, storytelling, and energy.

You'll work a full 40-hour week, but not the standard nine-to-five role, your schedule will flex around events, media opportunities, and community needs, whenever the action is.

What you’ll do 

  • Handle day-to-day social media presence across Reddit, LinkedIn, Discord, Slack, and Instagram, scheduling and publishing posts, replying to the community across all platforms, managing DMs and inboxes, and nurturing the tech community both locally and internationally. 
  • Represent Landing.Jobs at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings, ensuring consistency across all public-facing touchpoints. Appear on camera for reels, short-form videos, public presentations, webinars, and live content as a regular on-screen presence for the brand. 
  • Organise and host community events (contests, games, meetups, webinars or panels). To make that happen, coordinate event logistics, speaker outreach, and post-event follow-ups. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry publications, securing and managing press coverage, interviews, and brand mentions across multiple channels. Develop and execute clipping and media monitoring actions, building AI systems to automate and scale these workflows. 
  • Write compelling content that amplifies both the brand and individuals, including ghostwriting, interview scripts, social media and press releases to support the personal branding of multiple team members and identify story angles and thought leadership opportunities. 

Requirements

What we're looking for 

  • Proven experience in community, PR, or a similar brand-facing role 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English 
  • Comfortable on camera and on stage, getting energised by public-facing moments 
  • Experience managing social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, Instagram, and community spaces like Discord, X or Reddit 
  • Self-organised, proactive, and comfortable with a flexible, non-traditional schedule 
  • Ability and willingness to travel between Lisbon and occasionally other cities 
  • Familiarity with the tech industry and its communities is a strong plus
