Company milestones
- 2021 - In 2021 TeamViewer established an R&D hub in Portugal, doubling down on the strategic advancement of its engineering capabilities for world-class software innovation. With currently 30 highly qualified software and design engineers and many open positions, new office in Porto adds to the global R&D organization, and will focus on further developing AR solutions such as AiStudio, a new self-learning algorithm to train AI models for image and object recognition and an add-on to our enterprise AR platform TeamViewer Frontline.
- 2015 - Since the company’s foundation in 2005, TeamViewer’s software has been installed on more than 2.5 billion devices around the world. The company is headquartered in Goppingen, Germany, and employs more than 1.400 people globally. TeamViewer continues to offer solutions for the digitization of work processes throughout the entire value chain, in automotive, health, sports or any sector.
