OutSystems Senior Developer

As an OutSystems Developer, you will work within a team of top engineers passionate about delivering high-quality software and be involved in the design, build, and test of the mission-critical systems that support the amazing growth of this outstanding company.

You’ll have the responsibility for solution architecture, development execution and operational support of applications that are part of a larger ecosystem. Ranging from our website, our developer community, partners, and our people, we deliver top-quality software that supports the number one Low Code Platform day-to-day operations, both for our colleagues and for our customers.

We’re looking for an experienced OutSystems Developer that is a great team player, with the ambition to grow, good communicator, and available to help others. We want creative individuals who cherish and contribute to an informal, high-performance, and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and maintenance of applications using OutSystems technology
Create and maintain scalable and efficient code while following best practices
Finish all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timeline
Develop solutions following OutSystems development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption
Develop integrations with external systems according to the defined architecture guidelines
Executing the necessary troubleshooting and bug-fixing
Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise and knowledge
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the OutSystems ecosystem

Competencies and Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team
A strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
Experience with database management systems like SQL Server
Customer Orientation and Interpersonal Skills
Transparency and ability to establish trust and supportive relationships
Strong quality orientation and attention to detail
Ability to organize, estimate, and prioritize project tasks
Web application development and project delivery practices
Understanding of solution architecture and web application performance

Desired Qualifications:

4 or more years of professional experience developing with the OutSystems Platform
OutSystems certifications
Experience with OutSystems Reactive Web and Responsive Design
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Knowledge of database systems, such as SQL
Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services.
Professional experience in web application programming other than OutSystems is valued
Architectural principles and Integration knowledge using AWS and Azure-based services are valued
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Academic achievements valued
Fluency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory

Note: Preferrable candidates based in Lisbon.
