About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Staff Engineer to join a fast-growing international scale-up at the intersection of technology and sustainability.

This is a senior/strategic position where you will be responsible for solution design, software architecture, and providing technical leadership across teams.

What You’ll Do

Work on the architecture and solution design of new products and platforms.
Focus primarily on backend development, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Contribute to frontend projects (React/Next.js) to support end-to-end product delivery.
Collaborate closely with DevOps/Infrastructure teams to drive automation, monitoring, and deployment.
Act as a technical reference and strong communicator, aligning stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
Support the growth of products in a company scaling rapidly across Europe.

Strong backend engineering experience, with expertise in Node.js (NestJS preferred).
Hands-on experience with React/Next.js for frontend development.
Knowledge and exposure to DevOps/Infrastructure tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, etc.).
Proven ability in solution design and software architecture.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
