The way we work continues to change and existing insurance products are not able to cater to the growing flexible global workforce. In addition, we have built a unique AI insurance validation model making mandatory insurance check at candidate onboarding instant and to offer workers fit for purpose insurance when they don’t have sufficient cover, and to capture valuable data for underwriting purpose.

Jove is licensed as an insurance agent & MGA across UK, Europe and all 50 states in the US. Our AI validation model has been embedded into large ATS platforms such as Bullhorn, Mercury and Deel, with more than half of the global ATS/ HRIS platforms signing the partnership contract. Furthermore, the products from our MGA line can be offered to thousands of agencies and brokers to distribute across UK and Europe through a digital portal.

About the Role:

As a QA Software Engineer, you will use cloud technologies to solve complex problems, design sophisticated solutions, and build high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the technical skills required to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

Responsibilities:

Develop test plans, test specifications, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify and document defects and inconsistencies.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that defects are addressed and resolved efficiently.
Participate in the development of automation scripts and tools for testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer support, to reproduce and troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
Monitor and report on the overall quality.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodology within the organization.
Proactively identify potential quality issues and roadblocks, and develop solutions to address them.
Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's products and their functionality, and use this knowledge to improve the quality of the products.
Input all documented data conditions to execute test cases.
Analyse test results to ensure quality standards are met and the software meets/exceeds documented business requirements.

Have experience in software testing and QA Automation or programming experience (JavaScript, Ruby, Python, React, etc)
Have experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, etc to write automated and performance tests.
Have experience or knowledge with:
GUI, Microservice, and API testing on scalable enterprise web-based applications
Webservice technologies (REST, Postman, etc) and HTML, CSS & xPath
SQL and other database familiarity
CI/CD tools for build deployments
Have a clear understanding of software development practices and life cycles.
