WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Mid-Level Node.js Developer in our Agile team, you will play a crucial role in developing and
maintaining microservices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust services. Your knowledge of NodeJs/NestJs will be pivotal in delivering high-quality software that meets our business needs.
This role is to join an established API team who’s vision is to convert Hostelworlds API layer into a set of Node.js Microservices hosted on serverless (Cloud Run, Firestore/Mongo DB) tech.

3 or more years of professional development experience in Node, JS, Typescript, or similar.
Understanding of design patterns (particularly within the Microservice Architecture)
Experience developing and maintaining cloud-native applications on GCP, AW,S or similar
Understanding of code documentation practices and tools
Ability to learn, understand, test, and debug existing codebases
Proficient in both spoken and written English
Understanding of software development in terms of business value
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to showcase resilience in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
