Software Integration Engineer (C#, REST, SOAP) - intermediate to senior

Correspondent Integrations is a key product in the WorldRemit product family that currently facilitates money transfers via a global network of correspondent partners. We are expanding our team and looking for talented developers who have a passion for developing multi-platform interfaces and being on the leading edge of technology.

What are we looking for?

You will report to the Senior Global Integrations Development Manager and be an integral part of the team, developing the integrations layer & Payments API part for a growing area of the Correspondent Integrations product. You will be developing and integrating software components to support new features of the product.

You will be primarily be developing cross-platform, middle layer & library software components for a key part of the WorldRemit Correspondent Integrations product. You will be responsible for unit testing the software components that you build as well.

Main requirements

  • You must have strong knowledge and substantial working experience with C#
  • It would be advantageous if you have:
    • Coding experience with C++ or Java would also be advantageous.
    • Experience in Agile development methodologies (XP, TDD, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent communicator and fluent in English
  • Proven optimization, profiling, testing and refactoring skills
  • Solid knowledge of networking principles & protocols, including security
  • A proven track record developing against SOAP and/or REST interfaces

  • Previous experience with money transfers and/or payment aggregators
