Intro

What will you be doing?

You will be working on a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan and support the existing team in an expanded set of tasks around configuration, security, audit, documentation and test. The environment is a state-of-the-art cloud-based infrastructure and a DevOps methodology. The DevOps Engineer role is that of an enabler for development. 

Key technologies: 

  • GCP, Kubernetes, Scala, Javanode. 
  • Cloud Firestore, MongoDB, BigQuery, MySQL
  • Prometheus, Stackdriver, ISTIO
  • GitHub, CircleCI, ZAP 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting System Administrator in building cloud infrastructure 
  • Troubleshooting issues with software and infrastructure as needed, including on-call support
  • Writing and performing automated tests, especially load and security testing
  • Assisting in the development and execution of audit tools and processes 
  • Making configuration change in order to support business change
  • Maintenance of documentation on how the system is built and configured 
  • Maintenance of and tracking against financial goals 
  • Maintenance of and tracking against service level objectives Requirements 
  • IT graduate or one-year experience of system administration
  • Detailed, methodical, and conscientious

Main requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information technology-related field or topic
  • At least one year of experience in a system administration role
  • Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Cloud management, especially GCP
  • Understanding of Database management practices
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001
