Intro

At Touch Surgery, we’re on a mission to positively impact lives around the world, and we’re doing this by improving surgical outcomes for patients. We are building software that pushes the boundaries of surgical care. We build tools to help healthcare systems improve training, reduce errors, and decrease the cost of medical care.

Design and technology are core to how we’re doing this and we’re always on the lookout for great engineers and designers to welcome into our team. If you’re looking for a real purpose behind what you do, this role is a genuine opportunity to make a difference.

As the team is growing, we are looking for someone with a real passion for mobile development to join our diverse but tight-knit group of dedicated people, working in an agile environment. You will be helping implement features into our Android platform and assist with maintenance across the whole codebase. You will be exposed to UI, networking, data persistence as well as opportunities to work on our simulation engine.

The existing Android & iOS apps have garnered rave reviews from US healthcare institutions and media including TechCrunch, The Guardian, and the FT, and the platform is already generating substantial revenues, with over 2 million downloads. We have recently decided to rewrite our app using the latest technologies. We are currently in public beta, with the release planned over the next few months. We will then be continuing development of many exciting features to help surgeons learn their trade.
