We're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Lisbon to work on exciting projects in the data-driven world of sustainable transportation

Main Challenges:
  • Build and maintain the core infrastructure backbone;
  • Build automation and processes to allow the infrastructure to scale;
  • Enable monitoring processes to ensure the smooth running of the infrastructure;
  • Develop self-healing procedures when presented with failures in the infrastructure;
  • Ensure Daimler’s IT and security procedures are being implemented;

Main requirements

  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud and its services, mainly:
    • Virtual machines
    • Networks / Subnets and Security Groups
    • Web Application Firewall (WAF)
    • Azure DNS
    • Traffic Manager
    • Databases on Azure
    • Azure Application Insights
  • Knowledge in topics related to High Availability, Failover and Backup management in Azure
  • Experience with Certificates, DNS and Azure AD
  • Knowledge in monitoring tools
  • Knowledge in logging aggregation tools (e.g. ELK stack, Splunk, etc)
  • Experience with Linux & Open-source software

Nice to have

  • Experience with containers & container management tools (e.g. Kubernetes)
  • Experience with configuration management solutions (e.g. Ansible)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Good scripting skill Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps)
