You will be a part of a small and friendly development team working out of São Pedro do Estoril, where you will take responsibility for the front-end of the web applications that we're building.

The team is developing services, features and an API for identity assurance and verification, and we need someone who would like to take part in that, and to focus on the end-user parts of it. We need our stuff to look good and behave expectedly and intuitively to both end-users and to our customers, and we look to you to take ownership of that. You'll be an important part of the team, taking part in all discussions and planning and deciding what we want the product to be and how it should look.

You're a quick learner, and you would like to have freedom under responsibility. You're good at demonstrating and explaining what you've created, and you like to do it. You know your tools — you can produce prototypes as well as solid, best-practices implementations, and you're used to working with back-end developers when it's required to hook it all up so that it comes alive.

You know your way around popular front-end frameworks and tool chains, and you know when to pull out the screwdriver and when to use the sledge hammer. You get to make the technology choices needed to achieve the goals, and you're able to motivate those choices.

We've got a flat hierarchy and a very relaxed and informal work environment. We're friends and team-mates that work together to achieve our mutual goals, and we've got a good standing and are appreciated throughout the company. Our office is this amazing little house next to the beach and train station in São Pedro do Estoril which provides us with a quiet and cosy work environment that enables us to focus and be inspired.
