Intro

Shaperbuddy is looking for a tech-savvy, surfing enthusiast to manage our customer support! As Support Specialist, you will be our first point-of-contact for our surfboard / SUP / Kite etc. factories and surf shops. You will be working hand-in-hand with design, engineering and sales teams. You will tackle emails, live chats and the occasional phone call while simultaneously building and improving the support structures that will pre-emptively address customer concerns before they happen. Additionally, you may be required to travel and visit customers when local support and training is needed.

You'll be accomplishing all those tasks by developing an exhaustive understanding of the Shaperbuddy software and by working closely with Shaperbuddy's small team of engineers, designers and product people.

You will be working out of our office in Estoril, right by the Atlantic Ocean, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

What you will do:

  • Develop Shaperbuddy's Customer Support Strategy together with our Chief Product Officer
  • Conduct virtual meetings, training and knowledge transfer sessions with our customers world-wide, according to the customer support strategies
  • Engage with customers in a way that thoughtfully changes their perception of what is possible
  • Consult with industry key players to capture their business problems and work together on how to meet and exceed expectations
  • Partner with innovative and fast growing customers to optimize and transform support strategies and tools
  • Drive execution, anticipate need and act promptly on customer's need
  • May travel to provide training, support, local implementations and run factory kick-off meetings

Main requirements

  • B2B Software or SaaS support experience
  • Empathy with customers
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Experience writing content for blogs and support articles
  • Experience with support software such as Zendesk
  • Superb communication skills both in Portuguese and English
  • Living in Portugal
  • Permission to work in Portugal
