Your responsibilities:

  • Quality assurance of a Java based online banking system, back end applications and PHP/WordPress based websites
  • Development and execution of manual test specifications and including documentation
  • Planning and development of automated tests in collaboration with the developers in an agile development process (Scrum)
  • Reporting defects, retesting and closure
  • Devise improvements to current procedures and configuration
  • Perform work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements

Main requirements

  • 5+ of experience in software testing primarily in Manual/Functional Testing
  • You are proficient at writing database queries and Unix commands
  • Experience in Test Automation is an advantage
  • You are skilled at API testing of RESTful services using Postman or similar open source libraries
  • You have experience with continuous build integration systems like - Jenkins
  • Last but not the least, you are a team player with excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • English is the primary language but German language skills are a plus though not mandatory
