Intro

QMENTA is on a mission to help make brain diseases a thing of the past by using imaging to its full potential with computational analytics. Our tech team is growing and we are looking for people just like you!

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to facilitate maximum productivity of the development team through automation, system administration and managing cloud infrastructure. Additional duties will be to support our internal infrastructure and employee hardware/software.

Join our team in Barcelona and work in an environment that spans many technology stacks, including IT software, hardware and networking!

Responsibilities
  • Continually improve DevOps tools, processes, and procedures
  • Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure for Production and Dev environments
  • Work closely with the development team to understand automation needs
  • Manage internal infrastructure and assist with hardware/software issues

Main requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu, Debian)
  • High level of scripting ability (e.g. bash)
  • Implemented automation/monitoring tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, Zabbix)
  • Understanding networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP protocols
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to explain technical terminology to non-technical users)

Nice to have

  • AWS, GCE, and Azure infrastructure administration
  • Experience with container systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Enterprise support experience with Windows, Mac or Linux system support and troubleshooting
  • Object-oriented programming language skills (e.g. python)
  • NGINX/Proxy experience
  • Network and Telecom skills
  • Data cabling and/or compute facility experience
