Your Tasks

  • Work closely with UI and UX designers in order to create a state-of-the-art product for our customers
  • Develop efficient and transferable frontend features/systems
  • Develop web applications using various JavaScript frameworks
  • Have attention to detail and identify potential performance weak spots
  • Find and share frontend best-practices with team members and other developers
  • You will become or already are skilled with React.js and work closely with other frontend developers on web-applications and website development
  • As a Frontend developer you will contribute to our React component library

Main requirements

  • You have at least 3 years experience in object-oriented development with Ruby and the framework Ruby on Rails, knowledge of Elixir, Node.js or Python is a big advantage
  • You have already worked with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and handwritten optimized database queries
  • You also think about architecture, scalability, performance and design implications before you take any decision
  • You bring prior experience designing and developing Restful APIs, experience with GraphQL is a bonus
  • You are comfortable with agile development (Scrum/Kanban) and automated testing (TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration)
  • A plus would be good knowledge of current web development technologies and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular or experience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, ...)
