We are looking to hire a Sharepoint Support Engineer for our Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Portugal. In this position you will be supporting and maintaining our onsite infrastructure for a large SharePoint 2010 / 2013 platform, including infrastructure monitoring, Life Cycle Management, Service Requests management and Incident Handling. This challenging position requires several years of experience in the administration of Sharepoint 2010 / 2013

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure monitoring, Environment Performance Tuning, Infrastructure management, Environment farm documentation, Disaster Recovery, Backup management
  • Life Cycle Management, patch upgrade
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, mainly support with the Sharepoint architect colleague regarding the development of applications built on the Sharepoint platform
  • Understand the business and customer needs to support Sharepoint users
  • Support activities (Service requests; Incident Handling; Provide training to internal / external customers)

Main requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field

  • Have 4+ years of experience in Sharepoint administration support

  • Good knowledge of team site management

  • Solid knowledge of Powershell

  • English spoken & written

Nice to have

  • Other languages are an advantage
