The OutSystems Senior Product Designer is a critical piece of the world class digital experience that we wish to provide to our prospects, customers, and partners. This role combines strategic thinking with execution capabilities, and it serves as the key driver behind the team that creates a great experience to OutSystems customers. This role will operate as the custodian of good experience and design practices that Product & Delivery teams should follow and observe. This person will be involved in product design, research and UX for critical projects, while mentoring and coaching other UI Designers in the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Be an advocate for the user experience and user interface design practices, and voice our users’ needs to help build a better product.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, within an Agile approach, to drive the design process from ideation to product delivery and launch.

Head user and product research, lead ideation processes, detail end-to-end mockup solutions/prototypes, and drive user testing sessions in iteration for proven great solution.
Get into our clients’ shoes to effectively find issues and draw pragmatic solutions.
Be driven, flexible and enthusiastic, bringing new inspiring ideas to the teams.

Desired Skills:

A heavy emphasis on user experience and interface design for software products.

Involvement in end-user research to explore, uncover and analyze end-user requirements during field studies, user interviews, etc.

Can lead discovery and research workshops with C-level executives.

Actively seek to understand business requirements to develop solutions.

Great eye and passion for visual design, you stay up with the latest trends.

Create attractive, high-quality UI/UX designs, of both low and high fidelity wireframing & prototyping.

Define visual interfaces that adhere to and extend the defined wireframes and specifications.

Create and communicate end-to-end scenarios, interaction models, and screen designs to clients and stakeholders.

Collaborate with other designers to evangelize design systems, patterns and new interface guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor other designers.

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.

Ability to think beyond and be innovative to leverage OutSystems products and brand.

Portfolio demonstrating your experience in software application design (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years experience working in Product Design, Research & UX |UI (mandatory).
Ability to clearly express yourself.
Comfortable presenting your work to stakeholders and working with feedback.
Experience with creating user stories, doing research, and creating user personas is preferable.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
