Platform Operations Experts of the Expert Services team at OutSystems are leaders in all technical and functional aspects of deploying and operating the OutSystems Platform in large and complex environments. They are also champions in customer-facing, acting as the visible part of OutSystems in helping them have the best experience possible with their remarkable new platform while promoting the company values at any level of the Customer’s corporation. As part of the Expert Services team, you will be working with customers to help them become autonomous, contributing with R&D to the evolution of the product and leveraging your knowledge to help customers, colleagues and the company grow.

Challenges and responsibilities

As a Platform Operations Expert, you will be working in areas such as:

Plan and execute large-scale product deployment, reconfiguration, upgrades, performance assessment and troubleshooting, and technical auditing services;

Resolving technical challenges and business issues related to the OutSystems Platform;

Share best practices to make Customer teams better and more efficient;

Serve as an evangelist, mentor, knowledge resource, and trainer for Customers, Partners and OutSystems’ Employees – share the knowledge;

Be part of the change, routing feedback and influencing Product Management contributing to product quality and roadmap;

Advocate for customers and define ways to add value to the customer experience continually;

Be an active part in shaping how OutSystems delivers high-quality, scalable, valuable services to our Customers worldwide;

Have a strong focus on contributing to OutSystems’ customers success and knowledge base, creating innovation and developing content that creates awareness for the company.

Technologies

Working at Expert Services means you will be working with several technologies. Some technology requirements for this position:

Solid foundations in:

Windows / Linux Systems Administration & Performance Assessment; Amazon Web Services EC2 / Azure experience;
Web server operation, Microsoft IIS preferable;
IPV4 Networks;
SQL Language;
HTTP Protocol;
Experience in support/troubleshooting or operations roles;
Puppet / Chef;
IaC.

Requirements and Qualifications

Degree in computer science or another technical-related field;
Fluency in English, written and spoken (mandatory);
CCNA / MCSA certification.

Knowledge of:

Windows Powershell;
Network: LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems; ○ Security management: Firewalls and Load Balancers.
