We are seeking Support Consultants to work within the Customer Success Unit organization based in Barcelona providing technical consultancy, development and support services to our clients and partners network operating worldwide.

As a Support Consultant at Openbravo you will:

  • Deliver technical support and services to our customers and network of partners worldwide, driving problems to resolution and ensuring satisfaction of our customers, especially the Gold Client ones
  • Troubleshoot the reported issues in a timely manner ensuring 24x7 service is always delivered for critical issues in accordance with Openbravo SLAs
  • Provide clear communication of problem status maintaining high levels of courtesy and professionalism
  • Ensure service quality level are maintained or improved, contributing to boost customer's service experience

Main requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Telecommunications
  • POS/Retail and/or business software applications related experience
  • Database Knowledge/experience
  • Experience with Java Platform and/or all tiers of an enterprise web application
  • Knowledge of programming concepts including MVC architecture
  • Experience with user interface technologies: XML, HTML/HTML5, Application Cache, Web SQL, Backbone.js, Enyo
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English is a must
  • Analytical thinking and detail-oriented
  • Ability to learn fast under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed deadlines
  • Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability

Nice to have

  • French is a valuable plus
