The Data Team
We are currently building up our data engineering team to evolve our data pipelines. We are integrating data sources and supporting our stakeholders in using our analytics visualization tools. We are working on applying machine learning to offer our customers a better, personalized service. As a Senior BI Engineer, you will be a key person in enabling our departments to gain data insights, you will develop and maintain our data infrastructure, you will take part in designing our DWH and ETL pipeline, you will write SQL code and create dashboards for our stakeholders, and you will take part in a fun, growing company.
The Role
- Design DWH components and ETLs according to requirements
- Write python and SQL code to support extraction of data sources
- Work closely with business units to define and implement advanced SQL reports to make the data more accessible for visualization
- Maintain our data warehouse and other tools
- Support the hiring process and mentor new joiner
Main requirements
- You have 3 years of experience with designing & building DWHs and ETL processes
- You have at least 1 year of experience as a software engineer, preferably in Python, with proven ability to write and test code
- You have experience with Postgres or comparable
- You have experience with analytics visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or MicroStrategy
- You have strong communication skills
- You are eager to learn
- You are a strong team collaborator
- Proactive personality with a focus on getting things done
- You have a structured way of working
