At Landing.jobs we’re in the life changing business and we want to start by changing yours.

We’re looking for a enthusiastic UX/UI Designer to help us build the best experience for our users, someone who lives and breathes design, understanding that it is not just how things look, but how they work, particularly in digital formats.

You’re someone that aims for “done” rather than “perfect” and that all great work comes from team collaboration & iteration, and not waiting for the occasional flash in the pan. Pragmatism, not idealism, as the old Radiohead song goes.

You’re passionate about how things work - anything from door knobs to airplanes to that thing in the back of your throat. You try to connect the dots and relentlessly pursue the next piece of a puzzle. More than anything, you strive to understand what makes our users tick and how you can handle their motivations, anxieties and frustrations turning what may seem like a complex task into a walk in the park.

This role was thought for a summer internship (minimum of 3 months) but, depending on your performance, there’s a possibility for continuity after this time.

During this period you will:

  • Be part of the Experience process and involved in our Research, UX and UI stages;
  • Help coordinate with our Engineering team to implement what you’ve design;
  • Have your very own pet project.

You’ll be part of our Experience team, a small bunch of fertile designers, always looking on how to best understand and help our users (have you met Cristina, Luis and Carlos?).

There is plenty of room for personal growth and having an impact on other people’s lives.

Let’s do it?

Main requirements

  • Strong visual communication and design skills;
  • Have a User-Centered Design Approach;
  • Capacity to develop wireframes, prototypes and detailed mockups;
  • Basic Knowledge of User Experience best practices;
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written).

Nice to have

  • Experience with responsive and adaptive web design.
  • Knowledge in Sketch and image / vector editors (e.g. Photoshop / Illustrator / Affinity Designer)
  • Experience in UX: benchmark, research, personas, quantitative and qualitative analysis, wireframes, user flows and user testing
  • Experience in UI: mockups, style guides and prototyping.
  • Micro-copy skills.

  • Access to our internal mentorship program
  • Internal team training sessions with invited guests
  • Gym & other employee only discounts
  • Team-building event every quarter
  • Regular community meetups at our office
  • Team lunch every other Friday
