Intro

Landing.jobs is on the quest to make tech recruitment a pleasant experience for everyone involved and, at the Operations team we're in the centre of the action. We're here to support all the users in the platform finding great jobs, to help companies have a great experience and to do reality-checks with both whenever needed (quite often actually!).

But what exactly am I going to do? you ask...

As a Marketplace Manager you will manage both sides of our marketplace - the amazing companies looking to hire, and the users looking for their next challenge. Some of your regular tasks will be:

  • Helping our partners and being their hero: reviewing job offers, following and managing applications’ status, sharing a few tricks for a great recruitment experience, and being their go-to person)
  • Talking daily with amazing people to advise them and match them with their dream job. Yes, for real, your job will be meeting great people, from all over the world, with different backgrounds and ambitions, all with one thing in common: they trust you to guide them in their next big step.
  • Being the Staffing Market expert in Portugal:
    • Advising our sales team understanding what kind of companies they should target and feed them data to grow our presence in Staffing Industry.
    • Collaborating with our marketing team to suggest new user-acquisition channels we should explore, keeping the feedback going so they can adjust and plan long-term, exploring new promotional products, etc.
  • Being the eyes and ears of our product team and suggesting new features on our platform requested by our users, to make their experience better.

Main requirements

  • For us attitude is key! If we really have to put a number here, we would say one year of professional experience would prepare you to be successful from day one
  • You have previous experience in client facing roles and will not shiver to the sound of client apocalypse
  • You have experience in recruitment and know what it takes
  • You’re proactive, a creative problem-solver and really, truly, great at Googling things for yourself!
  • Communication for you is not posting on facebook - you should be ready to share your winnings and problems with the team, give feedback, help colleagues and celebrate with us as if “Team Spirit” were your middle name
  • You should have absolutely no problem in grabbing the phone and making things happen
  • Having good analytical skills and critical reasoning will get you further
  • Undoubted and copious English and Portuguese skills are a must
  • You've lived in Portugal for a while, you know how we do business and you can engage with Portuguese companies and tech professionals
