Who are we looking for
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support our worldwide growth.

You’ll be part of our People team and among your main responsibilities, you can find the following:

Prepare the payroll system and execute the monthly payroll processing;
Compute and process time sheet data, retroactive adjustments and special payments;
Process changes related to status, taxes, deductions and leaves;
Prepare and process the monthly declarations assuring its compliance with the tax and legal legislation;
Administer HR related documentation, maintain HR records and personnel database regarding employees remuneration packages;
Process bulk data loads and produce special report as required;
Respond to inquiries regarding tax and social security topics from our employees and resolve incidents as required;
Support Payroll Accounting team with reconciliations and accruals;
Identify and implement improvements to the process .

A good candidate for this position should have:

Deadline-driven and detail oriented;
Teamwork skills but also a sense of autonomy and proactivity;
Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration;
1 year in payroll experience in a fast-paced environment required;
Experience as a functional superuser with ERP, HR or Payroll applications (e.g. Primavera);
Up-to-date knowledge on the Portuguese wage tax, pension, social security and other employment laws/regulations;
Strong analytical skills, able to analyze and work with large data sets;
Strong proficiency with productivity tools like Microsoft Excel;
Highly proficient in English spoken and written.
