Landing’s mission is to reshape the future of work by transforming the way career development and hiring work. As a step on this journey, we’ve just launched a new product that we’re calling Landing.work.

We’ve launched Landing.work to help solve some of the challenges tech professionals face when working remotely as contractors, which are two growing trends. Landing.work will help tech professionals benefit from all the advantages of working as a Contractor such as getting higher pay, choosing their own clients and setting their own rates.

Our plan for the first months is to roll-out Landing.work for contractors based in Portugal and learn a lot from the process. From the Business side, this means we’ll need to start bringing in Clients who hire Contractors, make sure the first matches happen in order to build the foundations of a strong community.

We’re hiring someone with Business Development potential to join our Lisbon HQ, right at the heart of Lisbon. You will find yourself in a dynamic and challenging environment to work alongside an international team with a very powerful mission: transforming career development and hiring to reshape the future of work.

You’ll be part of Landing’s Business area but Landing.work will be the air you breathe every day. Some of your challenges will be:

  • Be responsible for client acquisition and account management initiatives for Landing.work
  • Be responsible for keeping track of customer satisfaction and making sure that what is sold happens successfully
  • Increase the reach of our brand in the market

As with all new products, we’ll encounter new challenges every day, and as an early member of a new team, you’ll be needed to help solve challenges that do not necessarily fall into the category of sales or account management. 

The opportunity to help build a new product from scratch within an already established company is a rare one. Main requirements

  • Potential to deal with companies (Business Development, Account Management, Sales or similar)
  • Fluent in English
  • Excited to go beyond for customers
  • Collaborative, fast-moving, and very startup-driven
  • Solution-oriented mentality, very positive and energized
  • Able to build rapport and establish credibility with different stakeholders
  • Capable of identifying business opportunities & market gaps
  • Availability to travel
