Intro

We’re looking for an empathetic problem-solver, experienced in web development, to help us create the product that will become the face of Jungle and help its customers plan and prioritise asset maintenance.

We are a crazy ambitious group of engineers on a quest to build worlds most powerful prediction engine, starting off with the energy & utilities and heavy industry sectors. The engine allows us to rapidly develop software solutions that predict failures of mission-critical equipment weeks or months before they actually happen, or uncover underperformance of assets. All these endeavours help our customers make renewable energy a cheaper (like, a lot cheaper!) and more reliable alternative.

You’ll be working on a product that must break down complicated solutions and deliver crucial value-add insights to the user. You will be developing an application for sophisticated customers who work in global companies, so there is an opportunity to make a really big impact. You will be working together tightly with an experienced product lead, UI/UX designer and other full-stack developers to overhaul and improve a product suite that is about to create big waves in the (renewable) energy sector!

  • You have at least 3 years of prior working experience as a web developer
  • You have experience using Node and Express for back-end development
  • You have built rich and dynamic web application front-ends with React and Redux
  • You have integrated your applications with multiple data stores like PostgreSQL, Redis or MongoDB
  • You are familiar with code versioning tools such as Git
  • You are fluent in English but are also happy to communicate in HTML and CSS
  • You are eligible to work in the European Union

Nice to have

  • You have experience with component libraries, like MaterialUI or Ant Design
  • You are proficient in Python and don't treat data scientist that can only code in Python as n00bs
  • You know and love a module called [insert-random-word].js and you think it can change the way we work
  • You like bananas
