The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming data into actionable insights, with a strong technical background in data visualization and reporting, particularly using Power BI. You will play a key role in supporting the organization with accurate and meaningful data analysis to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize Power BI performance, including dataset preparation and data model improvements.
Create and manage data models, relationships, and calculations within Power BI.
Provide technical expertise in data visualization best practices to deliver impactful dashboards.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and error-checking processes.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests using Power BI and other analytical tools.
Stay updated on new Power BI features and industry trends to continually enhance reporting capabilities.

Essential:

Strong experience in Power BI, including report creation, data modeling, and DAX formulas.
Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Experience working with large datasets from various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, APIs).
Proficiency in data cleaning and transformation techniques.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Desirable:

Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
Familiarity with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
Knowledge of ETL processes or data warehousing concepts.
Background in statistical analysis or data science is a plus.
