Job Description:

The Head of Product will lead product roadmap and user facing features development for Grover, using market and customer research, a deep understanding of our technology and market trends, and strong relationships with partners and customers. This role will build and lead a team that will represent the “voice of the customer” in product decisions and will be accountable for understanding the ever-changing competitive landscape.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create great customer experiences, deliver them to the market and grow Grover’s customer base and revenue

  • Own the Grover product strategy and company product roadmap a

  • Participate in corporate initiatives on strategy, business model evolution and process excellence

  • Develop relationships that foster understanding of the "voice of the customer" to inform ongoing product decisions (customers, suppliers, partners, industry analysts, etc.)

  • Identify market and UX research related to product strategy that yields global insights to inform product strategy

  • Establish business objectives and success metrics for each product (key features, launch schedule, financial contribution etc.)

  • Develop a framework for product decision making that is clear, inclusive and bold

  • Make smart tradeoffs among categories, cost and time-to-market to maximize the product value

  • Partner with all internal teams to assess feasibility of different product decisions and make recommendations based on financial impact and customer experience

  • Innovate!

  • Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute high impact product launches around the globe; work with other departments to develop product launch plans, press releases, marketing, sales and training materials

  • Manage and grow a team of product professionals whose mission is to grow the business through passion, creativity and continuous learning; hire the best to fill critical skills needs

Main requirements

  • Qualifications:

    • BS or BA degree required, advanced degree preferred
    • 3-5 years of product management and/or product development experience with increasing levels of scope and responsibilities; experience in leading product teams
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong bias towards data-driven decision making
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal communication capabilities with groups of all sizes
    • Proven design oriented approach to drive a frictionless customer experience
    • Ability to work across geographies and cultures, international experience a plus
    • You are fluent in English (German is a bonus)
