As Product Owner of the FREE NOW Driver Tools, you are responsible for the optimization of our operation processes and driver self-service via our Driver Tool Products. They are the backbone to operate the business of mobility without limits via our services. Your work will contribute directly to the ongoing success and growth of FREE NOW in one of the most dynamic markets of our times.

As Product Owner at FREE NOW you will:

  • Be part of the Driver Tools tribe - the backbone of the operations - in order to push it to its next level
  • Work closely with the product department in Hamburg/Barcelona and stakeholders across Europe
  • Understand the users of the tools through working with Business Intelligence, executing tests and overseeing UX/UI research, in order to find out and work on the main problems
  • Define and communicate product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively about how to solve problems that have never been solved before at this scale
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, engineers and designers to define a winning strategy
  • Shape the product roadmap together with our developers, the Prioritization Committee and stakeholders
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog in partnership with the technical team
  • Fail fast, learn fast and move fast to deliver real customer and business value
  • Adapt and understand different cultures and market environments. Traveling to our offices around Europe is key
  • Work closely with our teams to improve the development process across our European markets

Main requirements

  • At least 2 years of product experience in a fast-moving environment
  • Leadership—you can motivate your teammates to build amazing products. You’re great at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track
  • Superb communication—you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You make complex ideas understandable and craft specs that are easy for multiple audiences to consume
  • Technical know-how—you have a solid understanding of how software is made and how it works.
  • Art of Ambiguity- A smooth sea never made skilled sailors. You have to be able to make decisions with imperfect information in a fast-moving environment
  • UX fluency—you know the latest user experience trends and can empathise with users to create new, novel and simple solutions.
  • Languages - You have written and spoken proficiency in English and Spanish. German is a plus
