The Role
Being part of the Product Team, you will be responsible for driving product strategy and definition by translating customer needs into business and product requirements.


  • Create, maintain and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with product vision and goals
  • Gather and distil requirements from users and translate them into an actionable vision
  • Work with stakeholders to build a product roadmap, creating appropriate business cases to drive product enhancement
  • Liaise with business and tech teams throughout the product’s lifecycle to achieve the development of the product according to the product strategy and roadmap
  • Accompany the Product Development lifecycle from strategy, to requirement definition all the way to final deployment and usage
  • Monitor product performance and make use of customer’s qualitative and quantitative feedback to inform product development strategy

Main requirements

  • Degree in Information Systems, HCI or related field
  • Previous experience in a Product Management/Product Ownership or Project Management role
  • Experience of implementing/designing/developing Back office systems in a Retail Background – Product Information, Price Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, Warehouse Management, Global Logistics, etc.
  • Ability to translate abstract stakeholder needs into actionable and concrete business and product requirements
  • Proven experience in providing functional guidance to development teams and orienting them towards developing quality products
  • Sufficient Technical background and capability to collaborate with the Technical teams to understand and work complex technical topics (Service Oriented API, Testing Automation, etc.) into a Product Roadmap
  • Ability to easily build relationships with the different players of the business/tech area, at different levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both in Portuguese and English, with the capability to communicate at all levels in the organization
  • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously, respond to work with urgency and understand deadlines
  • Good attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort through and aggregate complex information quickly and effectively

Nice to have

  • Past experience in Consulting/SI performing client facing roles
  • Experience working in large scale organizations on a multi-national level with a multi-cultural team
  • Knowledge of the Scrum methodology
  • Familiarity with User Experience Topics
