As a C level you will work directly with the founder Jan, who is a serial entrepreneur and - among other companies - helped build CHECK24 and the incubator M Cube. 

About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled CTO who will be our first technology go-to expert and play an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth. In this position, you will oversee our overall technology development and utilization plan and manage all information technology resources of our company. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. Main requirements

Your Skills:

  • Lead the strategy for the technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships
  • Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs
  • Create a timeline for development and deployment of technology services
  • Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence
  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
  • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
  • Reduce the risk of technological breaches
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape and take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define and deliver new products and enhancements
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
  • Know how to recruit and lead a top tier tech team

Your Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience as software developer for at least 10 years from which 5 in a leadership role for
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development
  • Hands on experience with complex project management 
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proactive problem solver
