About 3 million roadworks take place every year in England and Wales., the national roadworks and traffic disruptions platform, is used on a daily basis by Traffic Management and Streetworks professionals to plan their works more efficiently, reduce costs and communicate disruptions to road users, businesses and residents.

We're a small team so we like to promote ownership and responsibility. Also, you'll be given enough freedom regarding technical decisions when implementing new functionalities, resting assured that you'll always have the support of other team members.

Our technical team is based in the UK and in Lisbon – fast becoming a leading technical centre for some of the brightest technology companies and developers in Europe. is based on the latest web technologies, hosted worldwide in the Amazon Cloud and our Agile environment offers the opportunity of working with some of the biggest names in the world of intelligent transport.

This specific position is for our Lisbon office where you'll enjoy working with other bright, tech-savvy people who like to work sensible hours.

We're looking for a QA Engineer / Tester. You'll be fully integrated into our development team.

Your tasks:

  • Perform all means of testing (manual & automated, 50/50)
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, customer care agents and business stakeholders to increase customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for 2nd level technical support as a team effort, be the key player for the bug process
  • Plan and coordinate test sessions
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization

Main requirements

  • Manual & Automated Tests are familiar concepts
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Be passionate to learn, develop skills and knowledge
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English

Nice to have

  • Hands on experience in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Calabash, etc)
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience with Java
