Intro

ECCO is looking for a Software Engineer, within the Digital Showroom team in R&D Department in Portugal.

The Software Engineer will work directly with the Graphic and UI/UX Designers, by delivering new and better solutions for development and assessment of systems and tools. Will contribute and participate in weekly stand-ups, research studies, design workshops and critique sessions and must provide insights and guidance to drive solutions strategy.

As a member of the Digital Showroom team, you will be instrumental in ensuring ECCO’s continued wholesale digital success. You will be positioned to help develop our showroom into a working solution for our sales teams (and beyond) for years to come.

As this project is a new undertaking, ECCO is looking for candidates that are willing to do more than just their job. We are looking for new ideas and new strategies that we can build into our platform. We want you to create a truly inspirational and cinematic experience by harvesting content from across the organization and creating your own. 

Main requirements

• Bachelor Degree, preferable in Computer Sciences or related areas;
• English knowledge;
• Experience in building desktop applications using WPF, XAML;
• Knowledge of .NET Framework (4.5+ / C#);

• Good understanding of object-oriented design principles.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of common software design patterns;
• Experience with .NET WCF;
• Experience with consuming REST API's;
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
