Role Description:

The opening is to be integrated in an IoT platform for the remote diagnosis, monitoring and control of commercial and industrial equipments of Bosch Thermotechnology, located in Aveiro. This project will incorporate areas such as Industry 4.0 and smart-grid and condition monitoring, encompassing the following:

  • Specify end-to-end system tests for the aforementioned platform, according to system specification;
  • Design and implement the test environment to automatize tests (e.g. functional, coverage tests, performance, regression, etc.);
  • Review architecture specifications and requirements from a testing point of view (e.g. design for testability);
  • Coordinate, execute and document the tests;
  • Overtake support requests within 3rd level incident management and coordinate solution findings by suppliers;
  • Build up knowledge management for the 1st and 2nd level support.

Main requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar;
    • At least 2 years experience in testing area (test planning, test automation, test methods and tools);
    • Knowledge and experience with:
      • Python
      • C++ or Java
      • Selenium (for Javascript/HTML5/REST API)
      • Gherkin (BDD) or TTCN
      • Linux
      • Database systems (SQL)
    • Good communication skills (in Portuguese and English);
    • Extensive technological understanding;
    • Ability to actively participate in all phases of project development;
    • Goal oriented and methodical thinking.
