The Role

Analyse internal clients’ needs:

o Collaborate with clients to best understand their operational and strategic needs in terms of data analysis

o Investigate and solve business issues through analysing data (internal and external)

Produce and adapt data analysis models:

o Set-up ad-hoc metrics and process to address each business issue

o Propose and produce tailor-made analyses addressing key business priorities

o Contribute to disseminate a culture of data use and management within CIB

Maintain a strong market watch on the data analysis models and share best practices within the Analytics Consulting team

Main requirements

  • Business school or university Master’s degree graduate, with a specialisation in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, information management, IT
  • 1-5 year experience in business intelligence, data analysis, consulting, or related field
  • Expert knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Excel especially)
  • Very high comfort working with numbers : rigour, analytical mind-set, ability to interpret numbers and synthesize
  • Ability to think abstractly and creatively
  • Knowledge of databases and associated tools (Access, SQL, ETL)
  • Some knowledge of corporate and institutional products would be useful
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team spirit
  • Flexibility: ability to work in a changing environment
  • Project management skills
  • Fluent English

Nice to have

  • Fluency in French and Portuguese
  • Knowledge of programming language
