 ISA is an Internet of Things company for the Industrial Gases, Rail, Energy, Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater markets.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be part of a software team that will conceive, code and test the next generation of cloud-native software services for digital twins, analytics, web and mobile apps.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a world-class IoT platform 
  • Developing a micro-services architecture, ensuring security, high-availability and scalability 
  • Design, develop, and maintain software systems for ingesting, management, storage 
  • Manageability/Security for IoT devices 
  • Work with the team for deploying, scaling, and monitoring software systems 
  • Conduct Code Reviews

Main requirements

  • Computer Science or other related engineering degrees
  • Minimum 4+ year of professional experience in C#/Java/Golang
  • Experience designing services that scale to millions of requests per second 
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and networking 
  • Experience writing, understanding and enhancing algorithms, data structures, scripting, and software design practices 
  • Experience in stream processing 
  • Experience in software instrumentation for monitoring and observability 

Nice to have

  • Familiar with IoT and Cloud projects 
  • Proven experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices 
  • Strong understanding of database design and modelling
  • General exposure to software development processes (SDLC) 
  • Understanding of automated testing, deployment process and tools
  • Experience in building Restful service
  • Working experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure or similar) 
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies(eg. Scrum)
