Intro

ISA is an Internet of Things company for the Industrial Gases, Rail, Energy, Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater markets.

We are looking for a Software Technical Writer who will be the leading editor of content to enable product knowledge dissemination across internal and external stakeholders. ANOVA’s IoT software platform will feature highly-scalable cloud-native micro-services for digital twins, analytics, web and mobile apps, and open for collaboration with other software vendors to empower our customers for a full digital transformation journey. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Continuously improve documentation content in collaboration with engineers, product managers, marketing and sales, namely: 
    • API documentation for internal developers and customers/partners integrations
    • Glossary, FAQs, user manuals, How-tos, tutorials, quick guides, release notes, etc, in multiple media formats 
    • Independently identify and address content gaps 
  • Help developers and other stakeholders who have documentation-related questions
  • Contribute to technical sections of product-related proposals
  • Proofread all technical documentation to ensure consistency of language and style
  • Review and maintain all technical documentation templates
  • Be an active member of ANOVA’s IoT platform agile software teams and capture knowledge at all opportunities 

Main requirements

  • Computer Science or other related engineering degree or Journalism degree
  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD cadence of software deployment, namely making changes to documentation based on that cadence
  • Strong focus and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Attention to detail, data-driven, proactive, creative and innovative
  • Able to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Native English 


Nice to have

  • Familiar with industrial IoT and Cloud projects 
  • Experience working on an high-growth startup like environment 
  • Experience with Markdown and documentation workflows
  • Proven experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices
