ISA is an Internet of Things company for the Industrial Gases, Rail, Energy, Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater markets.

We are looking for a Front-end Developer who will be building the next generation of web apps in strong collaboration with the back-end, UX/UI, product management and marketing teams across different business units. Apps in the pipeline include use of React and Vue.Js for fluid and fast interface, fed by a REST API. We use an Agile methodology for fast release of new versions, with a continuous integration and deployment process running on GitLab or DevOps.

Main requirements

  • Computer Science or another related engineering degree
  • Previous experience programming in Javascript (ES6)
  • Knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework (AngularJS, React, or Vue)
  • Proficiency with CSS and HTML
  • Understanding of REST APIs
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Git, DevOps, Jenkins, …)
  • Technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of writing clean code and following best practices with excellent test automation coverage
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have

  • Familiar with industrial IoT and Cloud projects
  • Experience on at least one of these industries: Energy, Industrial Gases, Oil & Gas, Telecom, IT
  • Experience working on an high-growth startup-like environment 
  • Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
  • Proven experience with CI/CD and modern software development practices
  • Experience with operating production workloads in the Azure cloud is a plus
  • Understanding of data stream platforms, messages brokers and queues (eg. Kafka, RabbitMq, Azure Service Bus, Azure Events Hub)
  • Experience of working with Agile methodologies (eg. Scrum)
