We’re a fast-growing, London-based Saas company. Our software radically improves how businesses across the globe collect data from customers at events.

Our broad customer base of world-class businesses includes Aston Martin, IBM, Vogue, PayPal and Sony to name but a few. We are a small, fun team, and we're looking for someone talented to join us, invest their talents and grow with us as we embark on the next stage in our journey.

Our cloud and mobile based software helps businesses collect marketing and sales leads at trade shows and exhibitions. Akkroo works on tablets, mobile and the web, online and offline. We strip away old, inefficient paper-based processes and replace them with reliable, enjoyable, modern data capture software.

Our product and business is developing quickly, and we are ready to bring our first dedicated product owner/manager into our team.

Main requirements

If you’re the right individual, you'll…

  • Be the sort of person who can apply yourself to lots of different challenges; a generalist who loves to roll up your sleeves.

  • Work closely with our CPO, engineering, customer success and leadership teams to identify and define clear product goals then deliver them.

  • Be someone who is proactive, disciplined with their time and cares about getting the details right.

  • Have very good technical nouse, be deeply curious, and love investigating how things work.

  • Know when to improvise, review data, build process or start a conversation.

  • Help us implement best practices in house. More UI thinking, more UX thinking, and better incorporation of customer data. If you’ve already read Cindy Alverez’s book on Lean Customer Development, let’s talk about it! We’d like to hear about how you’ve worked to understand your product users in the past.

  • Be able to demonstrate to us your experience of taking software products from inception to release (or have witnessed it closely a number of times), and show us how and what you have delivered in the past. Tell us about any mobile products you've worked on.

  • Hold a lot of responsibility around our customers’ experience, so you'll have great sense of good aesthetics, strong written and verbal communication skills, and help us to set the tone and cadence to our team’s work as whole.

  • Help define what product management/ownership looks like for the business at large.

Nice to have

  • Should you have ever done some coding or web design – as a hobby, side project or otherwise – that’d be a huge plus, so please let us know if you have.

  • Equity (share options) scheme
  • Personal book purchasing allowance
  • Free breakfast and fruit every morning
  • Free Lavazza coffee and tea
  • Quarterly free team social events
  • Monthly free team lunches
  • A Macbook Pro
  • Office next to the River Thames, right by Houses of Parliament
