Intro

Within the Engineering cluster the applications department is responsible for the development of combat and information management systems for navy ships, integration with sensor- and weapon systems as well as the development of sensor processing applications. These complex systems contain advanced solutions for information processing, information management and the user interaction with both sensor- and weapon systems. Our product offers essential support for missions ranging from anti-piracy to ballistic missile defense. 

As a Cloud/Security Architect you will work in multidisciplinary Agile teams. These teams design, develop and test the infrastructure platform for the combat management systems, the radar systems and the optical sensor systems. The teams are responsible for the entire development chain – from requirements analysis, development, testing, validation to demonstrate the current status of the product. Main requirements

You are a talented Software Architect that is passionate about designing, developing and testing complex architectures:

  • Knowledge of modern virtualization technologies and tooling;
  • At least 3 years of IT Architecture experience;
  • Linux, cybersecurity, networking, cloud computing; you have in-depth knowledge of one or more of these subjects and you are up to date with the latest developments;
  • Capable of acquiring knowledge fast and adopting to knew domains;
  • A true team player that sets apart in terms of open communication, collaboration and feels responsible for the team result;
  • Capable of bringing complex information on different abstraction levels down to the essence;
  • Able to substantiate his ideas and designs commercially and financially, whereby you convince co-architects and the organization.
